How to sell a replacement off a Google lead
They searched roof replacement. Don’t run the Facebook-form pitch.
- On the call (60 seconds). “You searched roof replacement — leak, storm, or the whole roof is due?” Book the inspection that day or next. Google leads rot overnight.
- On the roof. Show the bad: soft deck, granule loss, flashing. Photos to their phone before you leave. Two numbers only: repair (temporary) and replace (what Google sent you for). Never quote only the patch.
- The sentence. “I can band-aid this for $X. It will leak again. Replacement on this house is $Y. That’s what I’d do on my house.” Then shut up.
- Same day. Text both numbers + four photos + “we can start [day].” One follow-up call the next morning. Not a 12-touch sequence.
